Welcome to the official page of the University of Guelph: Journal of Health Advocacy and Medicine!

We are a passionate community of UoGuelph students dedicated to promoting undergraduate research in the fields of health advocacy and medicine. The COVID-19 pandemic taught us valuable lessons, in the most extreme way, that highlight the need for healthcare reform. This group effort is a small endeavor in that direction, right here at the University! We believe that research conducted by students can potentially play a vital role in advancing our knowledge of these critical areas. Unfortunately, undergraduate research tends to be overlooked as it stands. Many aspiring researchers are prevented from sharing their findings due to high barriers of entry.

As such, we aim to provide a platform for students to directly contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding these topics. We are committed to spreading awareness about these key issues to the wider community. For this reason, our club is open to all undergraduate students willing to join, regardless of their background or major. Diversity and inclusivity have proven to be the backbone of our success.
